THE 24TH ANNUAL MAYORAL CONFERENCE ON ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, NY – October 31, 2008 – Digital Force is proud to announce that we have, once again, been selected to produce the educational CD-ROM for the 24th Annual Mayoral Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease. These CD-ROMs provide information in six languages as part of an educational series on how to care for those who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease.

CD-ROMs are a great way to inform and educate people on important issues. The Alzheimer’s Education CD-ROM places an emphasis on the importance of finding ways to strengthen the existing partnerships between families and healthcare providers. The CD-ROMs provide informational videos in English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Korean and Bengali to help families of all backgrounds deal with this debilitating condition.
These CD-ROMs will be distributed to attendees of the Mayoral Conference as well as to families and healthcare professionals throughout the five boroughs as an important instructional tool. This program will be supplemented by Mayor Bloomberg’s 311 Citizen Service Hotline. Digital Force is honored to assist the New York City Department for the Aging with this cause.

The Department was very pleased with the quality and quick turnaround time of the CDs. As Robin Fenley, Director of the Alzheimer’s & Caregiver Resource Center said, “ [Digital Force’s] flexibility and professionalism helped to deliver a state of the art electronic compendium CD to family caregivers and professionals,” helping make the conference “a resounding success.”

It has been proven by a study conducted by the Wharton School that CD-ROM multimedia is 600% more effective than print. That is why prestigious organizations such as the Columbia School of Nursing, Albright College, New York University and the Morgan Library have chosen Digital Force for their CD-ROM production needs.
