PHILLIP CARTER & SOV WIN A STELLAR AWARD

New York, NY - Digital Force is proud to salute Phillip Carter, gospel songwriter, musician and producer, for winning the 25th Stellar Fan-Favorite Award for Choir of the Year on his album Songs from the Storm. Digital Force proudly acknowledges its involvement in manufacturing the album Songs From the Storm, Phillip Carter’s first album to be nationally released.

Songs from the Storm is Phillip Carter’s fifth recording under his independent recording label Sounds of Victory Ministries, which showcases powerful songs ranging from traditional gospel to praise and worship. It celebrates the process of getting through life’s tough situations and tests, which could not be more applicable considering the struggles people are facing today.

In addition to taking home the Stellar Award for Choir of the Year, Phillip Carter & SOV Ministries were honored to receive 5 additional nominations: Male Vocalist of the Year, Producer of the Year, Traditional Male of the Year, Traditional CD of the Year, and Traditional Choir of the Year.

Phillip and the group drive home a powerful message from the book of Psalms on the first single, “I Love the Lord,”--a mainstay on the top 30 Billboard charts. “I Love The Lord is the epitome of traditional gospel music at its best,” explains Carter. “This whole album is a choir director’s dream because the music is teachable and easy for choirs and congregations to connect.”
